Learn to Fly Solo with Paramotoring
Flying a paramotor solo is an incredibly exciting adventure! While most people find the experience deeply fulfilling, it’s not for everyone. That’s why I recommend starting with a tandem introductory flight. It’s the perfect way to discover if this sport is right for you—and the cost is applied as a deposit toward your training if you decide to proceed. Training Overview
Powered paragliding training occurs in three key phases:
Your training begins with kiting on Day 1, and as you develop control over the wing, you’ll progress to motor training and flying. Some students fly as early as Day 3, while others may take more time—it’s all about mastering wing control and technique.
Flexible Scheduling
Worried about fitting training into your busy life? Most students don’t complete their training in 10 consecutive days. Whether you train once a week or multiple times per week, I work with your schedule to make it happen.
Weather Conditions:
Stable winds are crucial for early training. Weather delays are sometimes unavoidable, but Florida offers some of the best year-round flying weather, so you can often expect multiple flyable days per week.
Keys to Success
The biggest predictor of your success is how well you connect with and control your wing. For students training less than twice a week, I highly recommend practicing ground handling at home—it’s the fastest way to get in the air confidently.
Safety First
Training for flight is serious business. While paramotoring is one of the safest forms of aviation, injuries can still occur. Comprehensive training ensures you’re well-prepared and minimizes risks.
For self-motivated learners with their own wing and some experience, I offer single-session training. However, I highly recommend the full training package for most students to build a solid foundation for safe, confident flying.
